Good Evening Mother Lode Community, The Mother Lode Union School District is partnering with the Organization for Social Media Safety to offer a social media safety presentation to our families and community. Students at Herbert Green will be receiving safety presentations during the school day on October 1st. All Mother Lode parents, staff, and community members are invited to attend a presentation on October 1st at 6:00pm in the Herbert Green Multi-Purpose Room. Please see the attached flyers for more information. Child care will be available during the evening presentation at Herbert Green.

Ongoing changes to staffing have caused us to shift some of our routes to the El Dorado High School District. Due to this change, pick up and drop off times for routes have been impacted. Please see the new, updated route schedules in the link below that will take effect beginning on Monday, August 26th. Please note that buses may not have our district’s name on the them since we are utilizing the high school district for bussing. If you have any questions, please contact our Transportation Department at 530-626-4831. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate this transition.

Mother Lode is now accepting Student Bus Applications for the 24/25 School Year. For information on the process and changes please go to our transportation page. Applications are available at https://www.mlusd.net/page/mlusd-bus-application. Applications may also be completed at your school site starting on Wednesday July 24th or the District Office on Monday July 22nd.

One more try - Thursday - School is Open! Normal start times, but minimum day releases for parent conferences, both Thursday and Friday. HG- Noon release, and IC 1:00 release.

Wednesday March 1st update - CLOSED... Due to a deep freeze.

Schools are OPEN Wednesday March 1st. Given that the weather is unpredictable, transportation is still a concern. Please keep and eye on ParentSquare and our website for possible changes to the morning bus routes. We'll update with any changes by 5am.

We have been monitoring the weather and the road conditions in our area. Based on what we are seeing, and out of an abundance of caution, Indian Creek and Herbert Green will be closed Monday, February 27th. As we have experienced, our weather can shift rapidly and produce dangerous conditions. We hope you stay safe and warm.
